The Visionaire, Battery Park City, New York
Developed by the Albanese Organization, The Visionaire is a 35-story, 251-unit condominium tower designed and engineered to target LEED Platinum certification. Natural Systems Utilities’ strategic partner, Alliance Environmental, received a contract from the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) to evaluate The Visionaire’s water treatment and recycling system performance, specifically with regards to energy consumption and the integration of the reuse water into the cooling system applications.
Power consumption for the system is continuously monitored, including separation of power consumption into key aspects of the treatment and distribution system to identify areas for improvement and to determine power consumption per gallon of water and wastewater treated.
